• Fist, we start from a movie with a green stick. movie
• We apply it a color detection algorithm. As I’m dressed in black, this is very noisy. movie
• We close it with morphological operators to have smoother shapes, and extract contours. movie
• From contours, we apply a hough transform to detect edges of the saber. movie
• Now, we remove noise outside the saber stripe, and apply wide color hallation around remaining points. movie
• Last, we apply sharp white hallation on the same points, and an anti-aliasing procedure to obtain final result.
